Troubleshooting ZeeDrive
You might find that one day, you are unable to access any of the mapped network drives within your File Explorer. If this is the case, we are gonna want to take a look at the application that makes this happen.
What is Zee Drive and what does it do?
Zee Drive looks at SharePoint and maps all department folders/drives to your own machine. This allows for easy accessibility and maneuverability. You will be able to see each of these drives under "This PC" in your File Explorer. Anything you edit/save from these department folders will sync to SharePoint. This stops you from having to in and out of SharePoint to find a specific folder/file. It looks like the below within your File Explorer:
What do I do if I cant access any drives?
Zee Drive is a background application. This typically just means something you never really have to touch/see, it starts automatically and typically, should do its job automatically. As Zee Drive connects with your Microsoft account, it can sometimes come out of sync from a password change or anything of the sorts.
If this does happen, you can open the Zee Drive application and see where the issue lies. Please see below on how to find these errors:
1. Select the hidden menu icon (^) in the bottom right corner of your main display.
2. You will be able to see the Zee Drive icon. Double click this.
3. You should now see the screen below, please keep in mind, the error can be slightly different. 99% of the time, it will give you an error with a hyperlink to resync/update your O365 account.
4. Click on this link and it should prompt you to sign into your Office account. Once this has been completed Zee Drive will look like the below and you will be good to go.
